The Cannonball Sun 2024!
We have very exciting news! We are planning to make another Cannonball Run in the summer of 2024. Behind the scenes, we have been working very hard to determine a plan for our future. We seriously considered solar raycing again this summer and began the design process, but we were not financially sure that we would be able to pull off the trip from New York to LA. We want to do everything we can to ensure that our next attempt will be successful.
Though we will not be building another solar car in the near future, we have some other great opportunities! Will is currently taking a semester off from the University of Michigan to work at Tesla as a design engineer. Kyle is planning on working at Ford this summer as a design engineer following a semester at Michigan Tech. Danny has several opportunities and has not yet decided what he will be doing this semester.
We cannot wait to get started on building our next car and sharing our progress with you all. Wishing everyone a happy spring.
